We hope everyone is managing to keep cool and calm in this latest spell of hot weather.
Here’s a quick round up of all the latest news at the studio.

Gong Bath: Sound into Silence with Michelle
We are pleased to be able to confirm that Michelle will be running gong baths on Friday 19 August (7:30pm) and on Friday 16 September (5pm and 7:30pm).
Book early if you’d like a space on one of these as they often sell out.
Settle Into Stillness with Robyn: Sunday morning Yin
The lovely Robyn will be teaching her Settle Into Stillness yin class on Sunday 11 September and then again on Sunday 2 October and 11 December - for those who want to explore their yin nature. These can all be pre-booked...
We are delighted to be offering our next 4-week beginners/ foundation course, which will be held on Monday evenings, starting on 19 September.
These courses are designed for any person at any level that is new to yoga or for students who want to revisit the fundamentals of yoga or continue to improve their practice.
We are delighted that Ivana Saldaña will be returning on Saturday 24 September and will be offering a personal development 'Sacred Shiatsu' workshop integrating grounded movement, visualisation and Shiatsu.
Danny has now left the Thaxted Yoga team (he remains a client) so Lolli has taken over managing all the admin. Please bear with us if things take a little longer than they used to whilst Lolli gets used to managing the website and booking system. Huge thanks to Danny for all his hard work and dedication to Thaxted Yoga.
Sadly Gemma has decided to leave Thaxted Yoga to pursue her own business interests and we are very sorry to see her go. We hope she will still collaborate with us in the future and we would like to thank her for her commitment over the last 18 months.
Class changes and new teachers
Thank you for your understanding whilst we have had to make adjustments to classes over the summer but we are delighted to announce that Sarah Power will be taking over Gemma's Monday night Vinyasa Flow slot from September. This will continue to be a stronger practice, as well as including some pranayama and relaxation.
Until then Charlotte will be covering our Monday night, and Thursday night, classes.
We are also very pleased to announce that from 9 September, Gillian Reynolds will be taking over our Friday morning class. This will be a Hatha yoga class which will incorporate elements of Iyengar, Sivananda and Jivamukti yoga, as well as exploring meditation and breathing techniques.
