I always loved singing today’s Psalm when I was scheduled to cantor for the Feast of the Assumption of Mary. It is bittersweet, but I have decided to step back from cantoring a bit, so my family and I can attend the Latin Mass more often, with which we have fallen in love. More on that to come! But the beautiful Psalm arrangement written by R.Rice, which I would sing, will forever be etched in my memory.

Fitting for August…

I have been able to redesign and re-order my Immaculate Conception stickers! Version one was on a clear background; V2 is on white, for brighter colors. V1 had a spelling error. V2 is in… Latin! And I sincerely hope there are no spelling or grammatical errors.  I checked it against several Miraculous Medals and prayer cards.  I think it will do! And she’s ready to decorate your notebooks, waterbottles, phones and more. Or give away to someone- this image has been known to inspire conversions, for instance... This sticker is on sale this week!
 

- P I U S  P E L I C A N -

Speaking of versions, I have done several versions of the “Pius Pelican” symbol. Legend has it that if a Pelican has no food to give to her young, she will pierce her own breast. Long ago, this became a symbol for Christ.  My latest version is available as a printable poster, but now too, as a sticker!

Life Updates...

Summer is rushing by.  I fully admit that I am torn between two things I desire… it is a good thing God is in charge! One desire is to finish the book I am working on, before we (Lord willing) have to head out of town to adopt a baby. The other desire is, of course, adopting a baby as quickly as possible!  I offer this all up to Jesus through the help of Mary. And I’m grateful to say that the book progress is going well. 

We have not yet made a match- cases are coming slower this time around, but we remain grateful for the help of Christian Adoption Consultants (we used them to adopt our son in 2019).
