Sojourner House's 12th Annual Masquerade Ball -  Royal Garden Party!

We're excited to officially invite you to our 12th Annual Masquerade Ball on Friday, November 18th, at the Graduate Providence! Join us for our "Royal Garden Party" as we celebrate our accomplishments from the past year.

In addition to being a lot of fun, the event will help us raise critical unrestricted funds to help us pay expenses that many of our grants cannot. These funds are needed now more than ever. In 2021 we served more victims than ever in a calendar year, directly serving more than 1,900 victims of abuse. We also provided them with 22,458 service sessions, and we anticipate both of these numbers continuing to increase.

So purchase your ticket today, and join us as we raise money to help victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking!

Thank you to our wonderful 2022 partners!
We're continuing to increase our housing stock!

Last week, Sojourner House closed on a three-unit residential property in Providence! The purchase was made possible with a generous grant from the Site Acquisition Program (SAP) administered by Rhode Island Housing. The building needs a little TLC, and then it will be ready to provide safe, secure housing to three more households that have been impacted by abuse.

Camp Eureka is this week!
This week marks Sojourner House's annual "Camp Eureka," a free summer camp for children who have been impacted by abuse, trauma or domestic violence. Forty children from our programs get to enjoy a week of outdoor adventures, cooperative games, arts and crafts, and team-building activities while building new friendships and working with our School-Based Advocate and Education Manager. Due to the many social and economic barriers that domestic violence situations can create, Camp Eureka serves as the only accessible camp experience for most of the children who participate. We're looking forward to sharing some fun stories with you all!
