Dear Faith Family,
When I first came on staff at First Hewitt, the very first discipleship that I led was Experiencing God and now 22 later, I have the awesome experience of leading it again with some of our ladies. It has been a great reminder of how God works and what it means to encounter Him through a love relationship with Him.
As we follow Jesus one day at a time, He will keep us in the center of God’s will. It is important to be reminded that not only is the Bible God’s Word to us, but the Scriptures are our source of authority for faith and practice. It is our road map so that we can listen and watch to see where God is working so we can join Him.
We are a doing people. We always want to be doing something. This so describes me because I love doing “stuff” for people. Henry Blackaby says, “God is crying out to us, ‘Don’t just do something. Stand there! Enter a love relationship with Me. Get to know Me. Adjust your life to Me. Let Me love you and reveal Myself through you to a watching world! A time will come when doing will be called for, but we can’t skip the relationship. The relationship with God must come first. Without Him, you can do nothing. He means that!”
If you are reading this and you do not have a love relationship with Jesus Christ, I would love to have a conversation with you. Knowing Jesus is the best decision I have ever made and I want everyone to know my Jesus!

2022-2023 BUDGET PROPOSAL
As you may remember, we voted last year to change the dates of our church fiscal year. In the past, our budget followed the normal calendar year (January - December). However, starting in September, we will be following a fiscal year that starts in September 2022 and goes through August 2023.
In preparation for this new fiscal year, our church staff and finance team have prepared a budget proposal for 2022-2023. This proposal is now available by clicking HERE. It will also be available in the foyer of the HUB and in the foyer of the Worship Center.

Operation Christmas Child Mission Project
Thanks so much for your support of Operation Christmas Child as we support missions around the world during the Christmas season. In order to finish packing 100 boxes, we need the following items to finish this mission project:
· 21 coloring books
· 48 small puzzles
Transportation Needed
We have a few ladies that need transportation to and from Sunday School & Church on Sundays. One of them lives a few blocks from the church and the other one lives off of Chapel Road. If you would be willing to provide this transportation, please call Susan Malone for more details.

Nursing & Changing Room for Moms is OPEN
We have transformed the old Bride's room in the foyer of the Worship Center into a room for Moms with babies or small children. We have placed a couple of rocking chairs, a changing table, and a TV with our Livestream in the room near the First Street doors. We hope this is a blessing for all our young Moms!
