Waters Families,
Unfortunately, the foreman of the water main project has confirmed that the 4500 block of Campbell Ave. will be closed for the first week of school starting on Monday, August 22. This is the section of Campbell directly in front of Waters.
The crews are testing the lines in the new main and are chlorinating this week. If that process is successful, they will be closing the street next week to allow for switching service from the old water main to the new water main.
This will have a large impact on all students, families and staff the first week of school. We strongly encourage walking to school if at all possible that week. Hopefully, the street will be reopened in time for the second week of school.
