Dear <<First Name>>,
We had a church BBQ on Sunday. How good it is to fellowship over a meal.

Devotional reading for today

Share the Gospel

The things you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

2 Timothy 2:2 - NKJV

How seriously an infectious case of the Gospel have you got? Are you a carrier of the Gospel? The best carriers are faithful men and women. They are people who treasure the Gospel and who take seriously the role they now have as Gospel stewards. They realise how much the Gospel has done for them. They want to pass it on among those they meet with, live with and work with so it can do the same for them too.

How contagious has the Gospel become in you? A good portion of the world may have heard something of the Gospel but what portion has had chance to catch the Gospel from someone infected by it? You've heard of infectious laughter. What you need is infectious joy. You need joy in the Gospel so that you can't help but pass it on. Pass it on, spread it about. Use Gospel joy as an opening to teach others about the Good News. The Gospel spreads best this way. And, while you're doing this, find faithful people who likewise will follow your lead and become effective communicators of the Gospel! Mat.28:19-20.

May the Gospel thrive in your heart by the passion the Holy Spirit stirs in you! What is in your heart in abundance, you will share with others! The more you share it the more you will be established in it. Jesus in His ministry on earth selected 12 men and then he selected 70. These were called to be vessels carrying the Gospel. The apostle Paul with the early church appointed faithful, Spirit-filled brethren to stewardship and leadership roles. In this way, the early church flourished. The church in our times will flourish in this way too.

Win souls! The Gospel in you can be catching!
