Spinning Plates Like an Artist

It has been a very busy couple of months! The 30x30 show is on now at Blue Line Arts in Roseville. I’ll be there this Saturday to enjoy their 3rd Saturday event where they shut down the streets for a party and all the shops and restaurants are hopping – there’s live music, artist booths, food trucks and more! Join us on Saturday, August 20 from 4-8pm. (I’ll have prints and cards of these artworks at Sac Open Studios on Sept 10-11).

Summer Vibes Collection

The Vinyl Show at Sparrow

Mandalas of vans, trees, bikes and shrooms; imagery from my Summer Vibes series are covering my desk right now. The hard part will be to choose just one for the show at Sparrow Gallery from Sept 9-30! I’ll have the rest available at my Open Studios Party.

I’m thrilled to be collaborating on a piece with Isabella Velasquez about music and movement. The Campin’ Campers Print Session

This is a campground printing session experiment that went pretty well! I designed a stencil on my new-to-me Silhouette Cameo cutting machine that read “The Campin’ Campers – We Go Camping, August 2022” and spray painted shirts at camp. It went pretty well and was quite fun – you could totally do it at home with a hand cut stencil. I used Montana Black acrylic-based spray paint. You’ll want to let them dry overnight, then wash and wear (unless you’re camping).
