Have you ever gotten lost in your sense of life balance? Like you had no idea you were out of balance until your good friend or honest family member called out your behavior to you?

 

Or maybe you read something that put the magnifying glass on YOU. And being a now self-aware person, you could see that yes, indeed all those things that were happening seemingly to you were quite possibly because you were living a life out of balance.

"What’s New This Week"

  • Mudra:  Murti (= Body). sense the grounding nature of this Mudra, notice where you feel the breath move while holding this one. This one is a felt sense of being nourished and stable. 
 
  • Breath: 6 count in, 6 count out--Balanced. Nourishing. Stable
 
  • Strong & Steady: "Full Body Strength" 50min --NO weight bering in hands and knees today. We really do get to it all this class: Hips, Arms, Core, Balance. Dip your toe in to find the right amount of effort that feels right for you today...stable and nourished.
 
  • Chair Yoga: "Nourish & Stable" 60min--The name of the class is the way we approach the practice. Find stability within the movements but always in a way that you hold on to feeling nourished. Never pushing too far, or if you do, notice and step back to ask why. Sometimes making the smaller movement is the best fit for the day. 
     
      
  • Therapeutic Yoga: "Moving from the Center Outward" 50min--From a grounded center, we can begin to move outward. When we don't feel solid in our base (figuratively or literally), we won't be able to expand outward.
