Meals Ministry
‘For when you saw me hungry, you fed me. When you found me thirsty, you gave me drink. When I had no place to stay, you invited me in, and when I was poorly clothed, you covered me. When I was sick, you tenderly cared for me, and when I was in prison you visited me.’ Matthew 25: 35-36
At Northridge we value community. Jesus called us to love others and we want to practically live this out. One of the ways that we love to do this is to bless each other with meals. Whether it’s with the arrival of a new baby, the passing of a loved one, sickness or navigating a challenging season in life; a meal can communicate, thought, care and support as well as helping to cover the physical need.
As we have been reminded through Covid, our community and support networks are an important part of who we are. We want to continue to love and support each other well. So why not consider being involved in our meals ministry and helping to bless others in their time of need.
Due to the current wave of covid in our community, we are planning to deliver ready- made meals to families and individuals in crisis- with the intention of moving back into more personalised preparation of food in the future.
This ministry is dependent upon the generosity and support of volunteers within our community. If you would like to partner with us financially in order to care for families and individuals experiencing difficulty, please give online by using the following details:
