We're Having
a Cookout!
Plan on attending church on Sunday, August 28th, as we welcome St. John's and Luther Memorial to our worship service. Following the service, we'll have a cookout - enjoying picnic food outside. If you haven't been back for a while, this would be a great opportunity to get reacquainted with fellow members, meet some of our newer members as well as being able to visit with members of the other churches. REMEMBERING
OAK CREEK
August 5, 2022 marked 10 years since six Sikh Americans were killed and several more were permanently injured at a gurdwara (Sikh house of worship) in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. In 2020, due to complications directly related to the shooting, Baba Punjab Singh became the seventh fatality. At the time of the shooting, it was the worst mass shooting inside an American house of worship in nearly 50 years.
