                  Got Cod?

Today's Coxes Ledge Trip was not impressive but we did get a mixed bag of sea bass, hake, super jumbo scup, some cod, a squid, a fluke, etc... Not a mahi but then the high flyers were strangely absent so we only tried one buoy for them.
Yesterdays inshore open boat was quite impressive starting with a lone bluefish (not like the way the blue bite has been) then heading out for an easy sea bass limit of giants and then getting a tog limit!

Earlier in the week, there were lots of blues on some outings and nothing on others, The sea bass fishing on "giants" stays a no brainer and the striper fishing for slot fish is pretty reliable on the way in or the way out the river.

I will report again on Monday. For now I'd like to fill a couple of spots for this Tuesdays Coxes Ledge Open Boat Trip (530-1230) ,
Thursdays Trip (08/11) is full.
Lots of space (3 spots left-Coxes Ledge) on The 16th,
3 spots on the 18th (Inshore Thursdays, Offshore Tuesdays) , 3 spots on the 23rd and 5 spots on the 25th.
The last open boat Coxes Ledge Trip is on 08/30 and there are still 5 spots left for that.
Note that the last day of sea bass fishing in Massachusetts is 09/04, then we change over to tog as the primary target.

Please always include your name and phone # when scheduling.

Thank you!
