I wanted to start 2012 by wishing you and your family a very Happy New Year.
Since launching The Kahua Group about 6 months ago, a lot has been going on and now that the election year is here I wanted to share a few updates with you about what we have been up to.
We are now working with six different campaigns from Congressional to County offices and on all kinds of different projects from web site design to direct mail fund-raising. We also had the opportunity to work with Gov. Mitt Romney's Presidential campaign during his son Matt's visit to Hawaii last month.
In addition to the candidate campaigns, we are working with one of Hawaii's first Independent Expenditure Non-candidates Committees, Hawaii Solutions. They are similar to a "Super PAC" on the federal level and they are working on some exciting things for 2012. Check out their website for more info and to sign up to get email updates.
The General Election is only 307 days away and we are stepping up our efforts to find good people who may want to run for office. If you know of anyone thinking about running for office, please let me know or let them know about The Kahua Group. We are happy to sit down with people in the decision making phase to help them evaluate their options and give them a realistic view of the political environment in their district.
In addition to the political projects, we are doing several non-political website design and social media projects for small businesses.
