From hidden away countryside dining to feet-in-the-sand chilled chiringuitos, Ibiza is synonymous with excellent food and wonderful dining experiences . Each summer our guests ask us for our restaurant recommendations and with new entrants and change of ownership the list evolves. Here are our top recommendations for August 2022.

It’s hard to ignore the most buzzing and ‘de moda’ eateries.
Here are our top 5 experiences.

CASA JONDAL

The place to be for the last couple of summers and Cala Jondal’s new number one. Superb everything. Book well in advance (you might not get a table this August) and come armed with your platinum card.

CAN BAS

Right by the main road from ibiza town to San José but cleverly camouflaged away is the family friendly Can Bas. Serving up mouthwatering Mediterranean Asian blends at prices that won’t make your eyes weep.

LA PALOMA

On many people’s top dinner list for years and years. Hidden away in the sleepy hamlet of San Lorenzo is this lovely farm to table organic restaurant. It’s a wonderful experience and well worth the drive from our villas in the south of the island.

EXPERIMENTAL BEACH

An impressive sunset dinner location enjoying total privacy at the edge of Cap des Falco not far from Salinas beach. You know you’re on a great holiday when looking out to sea from the spacious and stylish terrace.

SA TORRETA

We had to include a D’alt Vila eatery in the top 5. Set in the bustling main plaza up in Ibiza Town’s ancient walled city are a number of good dinner restaurants. We have picked out Sa Torreta, and you will get a complimentary drink, if you mention you are staying with Mi Casa Tu Casa. Have a post dinner cocktail at S'Escalinata or Tira Paya to finish off the full D’alt vila experience.

So where do the locals go ? In truth they avoid the best known places and head to spots where their budgets won’t be swallowed with the appetiser. For our full Ibiza restaurant guide, covering over 100 of the best eating spots click here

REBROTS

Portinatx will not be on many of our guests must go to lists - tourists from the local hotels means it gets busy - but it really is one of Ibiza’s most beautiful bays with 3 separate beaches . The prettiest of the three is Petit Arenal and the place for lunch is the delicious Rebrots tucked into a shady corner. Understated and Excellent .

Amazing Mexican street food with wonderful flavours. A great pit stop in Ibiza Town for a delicious taco and a cool Pacifico beer. Really good fruit and fish ceviches.

MACAO CAFÉ

Santa Gertrudis’ evergreen Italian classic. A great family restaurant in middle of this buzzing and pretty village. Already very well known, but still hugely recommendable.

SANT FRANSESC

If you want to avoid a long and quite possibly expensive lunch on Salinas beach then stop in at this great little place opposite the tiny church in the even tinier Sant Frances village. Simple food done well.
