Dear Friends,
I've been thinking a lot about the recent case against the man who claimed the gun violence 'lies" we fabricated. Lying is so manipulative: it separates us from reality, from others... and importantly from ourselves. This case has been particularly egregious because it has interrupted and demeaned people's grief and agony. It also allowed a certain part of people to not have to see that gruesome specter. Honesty is an intimate piece of Love. The more we nurture it in ourselves and in our relationships... the more we flourish and the more our communities benefit and Peace becomes possible.
