Hospitalero Training - September 9 - 11, 2022 Register Today! We hope you're having a wonderful Summer. If you're about to leave for Spain, we wish you a wonderful Camino! It's also possible you've recently returned from walking the Camino and are looking for a unique opportunity to serve your fellow pilgrims. It's not too late to sign up for our September hospitalero training! Read on for more information and then use the link included below. During the 3-day American Pilgrims hospitalero training session, you will learn all about serving as an hospitalero on the Camino and how to find a place to serve. Successfully completing our training qualifies you to be placed in one of the albergues operated by the Spanish Federation. American Pilgrims does not place individual hospitaleros. Important Details Date: Friday, September 9 - Sunday, September 11, 2022 Location: La Foret Conference and Retreat Center 6145 Shoup Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80908 Fee: $295.00 The registration fee includes lodging for the two nights, linens, towels, and all meals (Friday dinner through Sunday lunch), as well as the training and all materials. Bring your own toiletries and other personal items you might need. Participants must stay onsite. To attend training, you must: Have walked at least 100 km or biked at least 200 km of the Camino Have stayed in at least 3 non-private albergues Be a current member of American Pilgrims on the Camino Be at least 18 years old by September 5, 2022 Provide proof of COVID vaccination plus the Booster Note: If circumstances warrant at the time of training, a masking and/or testing requirement might be imposed. Bring your masks! The training will end at 5:00pm on Sunday, September 11th. You must attend the entire training until 5pm on Sunday to be certified!
