Our 2022-2023 Gap Year Has Launched!

We are praising the Lord for the opportunity and great responsibility we have to train and send our first five Gap Year students - starting this month! We will mark the occasion when we host our first-ever Launch Celebration, which marks the beginning of our ministry year (more on that below!).

Our Gap Year program launches at the end of this month and goes through May of 2023. Students will come to Nashville to live and learn in an immersive, on-the-job, cross-cultural training environment. After spending the fall semester in Nashville they will be launched to serve overseas for a four-month internship in the spring of 2023.

Please pray for Andy, Isabella, Rufus, Rayna, and Ava! Also pray for our Gap Year Coordinators, Benja and Anna Matteson as well as the rest of our Resident Ministry Team who they will be serving alongside.

Launch Celebration & Commissioning

Our first-ever Launch Celebration Banquet and Commissioning Service was help on Friday, August 26th. We had every seat reserved for this inaugural event. So many of our partners and friends attended! During this special evening, we had the opportunity to rejoice together in the Lord's faithfulness over the year that has been. We were stirred to action by a great message from Pastor Will Burnham of Living Hope Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY. We ended by commissioning the students and staff who will are serving and being sent in 2022-2023. We plan to hold the same event every year, so mark your calendars for next year - Friday, August 25th, 2023!

We sent two G.O. Teams this summer and were pleased to hear the amazing things God did with both teams!

EGYPT

"The G.O. Team students for Egypt 2022 had the unique opportunity to be immersed in Egyptian/Muslim culture while traveling to some key ancient cities vital to the country’s rich history’s. They got the chance to witness firsthand a business as mission model through our partners who run a tourism adventure agency, enabling them to do life with people of the Islamic faith. It was such a privilege for our students to be apart of building upon these existing relationships with unbelievers as well as start the foundation for new ones!" - Team Leader Benja Matteson

MIDDLE EAST

"The trip was marked by the sense that we were watering seeds. Everything we did from climbing to worship to devotionals was used to further imprint the gospel on the hearts of those we met with.
