August

Throughout August, we'll hear stories of God's grace in people's lives during our Inspiring Saints series. We'll also 'co-mission' with some of our members as we learn about their work and rest.

In Kids' church, we're also learning about some inspiring saints in our Holy Troublemakers series.

Join us at Yarrunga at 9.45am for a 10am start, or on Zoom at 10am-

Notes from July

During July, we explored the rhythms of work and rest, the children shared a song with us about the fruit of the Spirit, and we enjoyed Christmas in July at the Davies'.

Walk the Wall

Thank you to Laurie who is once again organising the ehills team for Walk the Wall. Read more below.

"Walk The Wall".  "What's that?" Click the link below for all you need to know.  The second link gives access to various resources to assist your fundraising efforts.

The walk is returning to Ruffy Lake Park in Doncaster on Saturday, 10th September so groups like E Hills Community Church can come together for the walk.

We became involved with Walk The Walk (WTW) many years ago when Geoff and Di Hall were members of our church. They are active members of ICC (International China Concern) which organises WTW as an annual fundraising event to support their work with abandoned and disabled kids in China.

We are signed up as a team and we have a team fundraising target of $1000.  The way it works is each member of the team personally registers and creates their own personal fundraising goal and gets their own sponsors.  All money donated goes directly to ICC.

The distance each person walks is absolutely their own choice - some walk 10kms, some 5kms, others, especially those with kids walking with them, maybe less. It is a real family event and a lot of fun. The results from the money raised by the walk in the lives of the kids under ICC's care in China are immeasurable.
