Celebrate Pride Cymru with Morphe at St John's Gardens

On Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August, Morphe will be in St Johns Gardens doing free Pride inspired eye-makeup between 11am-3pm.

The gardens will also be decorated for Pride Cymru with three balloon arches in the colours of the Pride Flag, making it a beautiful selfie spot for those celebrating the festival. St Johns Gardens is located next to St John the Baptist Church in Cardiff city cetntre.
Safe Place Posters

To promote the Safe Places app we have created posters which can be added to noticeboards, toilet doors, community spaces or shared digitally. Each poster has QR codes to download the app from the Apple or Google Play store.

As well as the standard poster, we have designed a poster for Pride Cymru to encourage people who identify as LGBTQ+ to download the app and stay safe over the Pride festival.

To download a digital copy please click on the button below. To request physical copies for your business, please email info@forcardiff.com and we will arrange delivery.

HOOF! at Hill Street: City Ambition Fund Project

Over 16th -18th August, Theatr Iolo held 9 shows of 'HOOF!' at Hill Street, next to St David's Dewi Sant. Approximately 2,491 people saw the performances over the 3 days.

The audience was very diverse with people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities enjoying free outdoor theatre. Several families and people with disabilities said that they were grateful to experience the show as often financial and accessibility barriers prevent them from attending theatre performances. Several people also reported travelling to the city centre specifically to see the shows with many coming back more than once.

This project was made possible with funding from FOR Cardiff's City Ambition Fund. Applications for the current round of funding are closed but if you are interested in getting involved in the next funding stage, please email emily@forcardiff.com.
