Resilient Tampa - FY 2023 Budget
Last week, Mayor Jane Castor presented the Fiscal Year 2023 Proposed Budget to Tampa City Council. Learn more about the proposed budget and watch the presentation here.

Mural Celebration

On August 11th at 5:30 pm, help celebrate the new mural at the Gwen Miller Community Center. Painted by the talented Nneka Jones of Art You Hungry?, this beautiful new mural titled "History Starts Here" was commissioned by the City of Tampa Arts & Cultural Affairs division as part of Mayor Jane Castor's Art on the Block initiative.

After-School Program Open Registration is happening now.  Visit the Parks & Recreation page to register and check out all of the Fall Program offerings, from park rentals to early childhood education to after-school care.

The Tampa en Español guide seeks to serve the growing Spanish-speaking population in the City of Tampa. The page provides information about available services and how to go about receiving those services, in their language.

Residents can call (813) 307-5555 to be connected with housing resources, including homeownership programs, contacts to assist with navigating landlord/tenant issues, mortgage assistance, and more. Operators are available Mon-Fri from 4 pm-7 pm.

The Parks & Recreation team is looking for a Tree Trimmer II to perform skilled tasks of a hazardous nature involving Arboriculture including the installation, care, maintenance, and removal of municipal trees and stumps. This position requires the completion of High School and one (1) year of experience in general or skilled labor including six (6) months in Arboriculture or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
