A Message from MFMC President:
Greetings MFMC Members,
August already? Summer is flying by! I hope you are finding time to relax and enjoy some summer fun!
On July 9, I had the honor of attending the 78th Northeastern Region meeting in Chautauqua, New York with MFMC First Vice President, Alisha Snyder, and her daughter, Kathryn.
At the morning meeting, we enjoyed hearing reports from Northeastern Region state presidents and remembered those Federation members we have lost this past year. We were entertained by the marvelous Sweet Adeline’s quartet “Fast Forward” and enjoyed building new friendships with other NFMC members.
Later in the day, we were inspired by a recital prepared by brilliant Music School NFMC scholarship recipients. The Fletcher Music Hall at the Chautauqua Institute was filled with vibrant performances! Afterwards, we enjoyed touring the grounds and took in beautiful sights of flower gardens and magnificent Victorian homes.
Later in the evening, we watched the movie Aladdin in the Amphitheater while the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra brilliantly played the soundtrack.
It was a pleasure to attend the 2022 Federation Days at Chautauqua!
