Survey: last opportunity to complete the survey below which seeks to identify trends in respect of furnished holiday lets (FHL) owners and properties. 


The survey is completely anonymous and no personal identifying details are required. It will hopefully provide some evidence to support steps being taken to challenge the developing legislation in respect of the 182 days, or at the very least to prompt exceptions and exemptions.

Consultation on the Draft non-domestic rating (Property in Common Occupation) (Wales) Regulations 2022


The Welsh Government are seeking views on the draft regulations to define the circumstances in which two or more units of property:
  • must be treated as one property in valuation for non-domestic rating
  • are considered as contiguous with each other
Responses must be completed no later than 16 September 2022.

Dark Sky Festival 2022


The Brecon Beacons National Park are running a Dark Sky Festival from 23rd - 25th September based mainly at the Visitors Centre, Libanus.

There are lots of events to choose from including:
  • Planetarium Shows
  • Stargazing
  • Bat Walks (which take place in Brecon) 
  • Learning about our marvellous moths
  • Meteorites
