Creating a Strong Foundation

As a founder, it's essential to position your business to grow over time beginning with a strong foundation. Committing to solving a problem for your target market takes belief in yourself and strategy.

You will need several things to grow your business from an idea to a viable product with longevity. The mission and vision will be your company's anchor, the reason for others to buy in, and why you keep going when things get difficult. A diverse staff will help take your business to the next level by increasing productivity, scaling, and lead to innovative ideas over time. Having a reliable board of directors to assess risks, help strategize long-term and short-term goals, provide guidance in hitting KPIs, and make recommendations that are in the company's best interest.

A strong foundation is critical to survival when launching and building a viable business.

Women Who Code is a space for you to gain resources, skills, and community in all areas of your career.  You can grow your technical and professional skills through our digital events, blogs, podcast, and on-demand YouTube channel. Join a WWCode community and become a volunteer for even more opportunities to gain leadership experience and build relationships with other women in tech.
