Holy Land Trip Update: Our church will be spinning-off and forming our own trip to the Holy Land for 2023. We will no longer be attending the January 2023 trip with USF. If you are interested in going to the Holy Land next year, please speak with Pastor Jerry by August 27th.

Attention all confirmands: An informational confirmation meeting will be held for all confirmands and parents/guardians on Sunday, September 18th at 11:30 am - 12:00 pm in the classroom off of the fellowship hall. If you're unable to attend, please contact Pastor Jerry.

Food Pantry Focus for August:
We are collecting quick prep food (e.g. ramen noodles, microwave mac & cheese, etc...) for the McCook Food Pantry for the summer months.
For those who are in need of food from the Pantry, it is open the third Thursday of every month from 10am-12pm for seniors
and 3:30-6pm for families. Pick-up location is at the Armory in Salem. Food is distributed curbside.

Prayers for Wayne Ortman's family. Wayne's sister, Pam, died last week. Prayers of comfort amidst their grief.
Praise for the recent rain around the Canistota area! Prayers for those still experiencing drought.
Prayers for Betty Snyder, who is recovering after a recent fall and surgery.
Prayers of praise for the engagement of Anna Schroeder and Gage Davis! A wedding is being planned for next summer. Congratulations to Anna and Gage! Anna is the daughter of Susie and Brad Schroeder.
Prayers for Beckett Hutcheson, who is recovering after a recent bull riding accident.
Prayers for Eli Ramacle, who is now able put pull weight on his leg after breaking his femur!
Prayers for all foreign exchange students who are traveling to Canistota in the next week.
Prayers for the birth of Russell Markham to Anthony and Stephanie Markham. Anthony is Tami Bertelson's brother.
Prayers for Denise Kurth's cousin's grandson, Dylan, who was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer.
Prayers for continued healing for Dr. Susan Anderson.
