  • Pre-Treat Stains - Got a spill on your shirt or grass stains from practice? Pre-treat them as soon as you can before you wash, even if you aren't able to wash for several hours or even days. This gives you a better chance of avoiding stains and permanently ruining a beloved textile.
  • Don't Go Overboard With Detergent - Too much detergent can leave clothes feeling dingy and can break down your textiles over time. They can also cause sensitivity and break out's for those with sensitive skin or who suffer from conditions like eczema.
  • Wash Your Darks Inside Out - Doing this helps preserve color and prevents the fabric from rubbing together. 
  • Choose a Shorter Cycle - Unless you have heavy soiling, pick the shorter cycle for washing. Not only does this help with water and energy conservation, but it's unnecessary to use a longer cycle for normal, soiled clothing and prevents additional wear on textiles.
  • Use Cold Water When Possible - Again, energy conservation and it aids in color preservation for your laundry!
