Nice to meet you!

Thank you for stopping by my booth last Sunday and picking up Hidden City! 

It's a great joy for me to meet you and put this book in your hands, either for yourself or for someone you love. I love reading and stories and being able to share them with even your youngest readers, so even if you just stopped by for a quick storytime, I appreciate you and so do your young readers. I think entertainment is super important, both as art creating expansion in our experience of the world, and as much-needed R & R giving both the mind and soul time to breathe. 

You'll see emails from me fairly often as I keep you in the know about the latest behind-the-scenes action in author-land. For example, I'm spending this week working on final edits for Tattooed Angel (Book 2), I'll be teaching a class on character creation for the Rappahannock Regional Library writer's conference in November and signing books at Barnes & Noble in Tysons this Saturday.

I send emails when Hidden City wins awards and hits bestseller lists, like when it was named a Finalist in the National Indie Excellence Awards and clocked in as the #1 bestseller at Barnes & Noble in Richmond last month. Squeee!

Sometimes I'll reach out just to see how many tomatoes are overflowing in your garden or if you want me to bring my homemade artisanal goat cheese to the Market for tasting. :o)
