Jim Murray
&
The Too Good To Hurry Band

Upstairs @ The Brewhouse & Kitchen
Thursday, 8th September, 8pm

Welcome back one and all!

A new season begins and who better to kick it off than Jim Murray and his excellent band, (hopefully all in mint condition). Accompanying Jim's guitar will be our very own Alex Szyszkowski (melodeon/fiddle) with Lis Stewart (fiddle/duet concertina) and, keeping it in the family, Luke Murray (fiddle).

Hailing from Newcastle, where he founded the legendary Hedgehog-Pie, Jim returns to us via Eastbourne and Crete but with his roots firmly intact. Expect an eclectic mix of Geordie humour and fine singing from one of the most engaging performers around. With a repertoire ranging from traditional material, to self-penned songs, from Mark Knopfler to Stephen Foster (and not forgetting the occasional instrumental interlude) -there's just one word for this:
Too good to miss!
