Dear Business members,
Please be advised we have received information which suggests there may be an anti-mask protest in Kensington this Friday.
Date: Friday, August 12, 2022
Time: 4-7 p.m.
Location: 10th Street and Memorial Drive NW - protesters plan to meet at 4 p.m. and March to the Kensington Safeway for 5p.m. They have specifically targeted Pie Junkie as a stop along the way.
Please make sure your staff is made aware of this.
The City, police and bylaw are aware of this possible protest.
Remember to take care, be safe and kind to one another. We advise you do not approach protesters.
