It is our pleasure to announce Governor Kathy Hochul, 57th and first female Governor of New York, will be in attendance and awarded LSHV’s Champion of Justice Award!

Enjoy an evening of inspiration, information and networking at the 2022 Equal Access to Justice Gala on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. This charitable event will take place at the beautiful Westchester Country Club in Rye, New York
beginning at 6PM sharp!

The 2022 Equal Access to Justice Gala will also celebrate honorees Paul Adler- attorney, veteran commercial real estate broker, and creative development professional, and Jonathan Harris- a leader, mentor and responsible advisor. We are proud to have Paul and Jonathan as Partners in Justice.

Governor Hochul’s first budget included historic levels of funding for civil legal services including $35 million for eviction defense, increases to foreclosure prevention, disability, and the judiciary civil legal services funding levels. She is committed to ensuring fairness and access to justice for all. Legal Services of the Hudson Valley depends on New York State funding to support its services to thousands of residents in the Hudson Valley.

“Since 1967, Legal Services of the Hudson Valley has assured fairness in the justice system – regardless of income – to hundreds of thousands of our neighbors who have nowhere else to turn,” said Rachel Halperin, CEO.
