Dear Friends,
We would love to update you on what we have been up to the past few months! We are always so grateful when we look back and see all that the Lord is doing all over Europe. Please know that we are thankful for your encouragement, prayers and financial support.

German Shepherds' Conference
|
|
At our annual Shepherds' Conference in May, Rick Holland and others spoke to 250 pastors about the commission of the church during the end times. Rick emphasised the importance of leading the church by example, preaching and prayer. There was great teaching from our staff and friends of the EBTC. We had a wonderful time being encouraged by the Word and the fellowship. Another highlight of the Hirtenkonferenz is the book table. We were so encouraged to see the abundance of biblical books that the EBTC has been part of in publishing and from likeminded publishers. Thank you to those of you who support this valuable ministry!

Also a picture of some of those who served during the conference :-)

We have had 229 graduates this past school year! Despite the high workload and the personal challenges involved, we hear this over and over again: that God is the faithful sustainer and HE gives joy and works lasting biblical change in their lives.
It is our hope and prayer for these students that they will walk ever closer to the Lord and that they will use their gifts to serve the local church and seek to glorify God in everything they do.
Preparations for the upcoming school year starting in September are well underway!
Below are two of the many EBTC graduating classes.

On June 19, we celebrated the instalment of three new elders: Jonathan, Thomas and Florian. We are so thankful for these men and their wives as they serve and shepherd our flock very selflessly. Christian has the privilege to lead and guide them and Sheryl takes joy in spending time with the wives.
We just returned from our annual church retreat at the Baltic Sea. We had a wonderful time of teaching, fellowship and having fun with each other. It always is a precious time of deepening the relationships.

We are continuing our aid to our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. It was so precious to see and spend time with those who minister in Ukraine at the GMI Conference.
Pray that God would continue to strengthen their faith, that many would come to faith and that the LORD would provide for all their needs (especially radiators for the winter).

GMI Family Conference in Poland
|
|
Praise God for a successful conference week in Poland with the GMI Europe families and many ECHO elders from the home office.
We heard fourteen 30-minute sermons by 14 different speakers from among our group! We were blessed to have music led by missionaries from all over Europe [and a song written for this conference!!], we had prayer and team meetings, enjoyed the hotel-owned water park and learned about the local history and culture. We also had many meals together and it was so nice to enjoy each meal with different families. As we looked around at each mealtime, we saw our group at tables laughing, some with tears, some encouraging each other with theological conversations and some trying to eat while feeding many children! What a blessing to have a wonderful STM team from GCC who served night and day with the children and the youth.
This was our first regional conference and as such many appreciated the smaller size which allowed for more intimate and more intense fellowship.

We are in Finland almost every summer at our cabin (Christian's mom is Finnish) and we had a great time this year! Three of our four adult children were there with their families. We had so much fun cooking, eating, hiking, swimming, exercising, playing in the sandbox, eating ice cream and just sitting around together. It was a wonderful time and so special that Philip and Eloise could be with us! The only thing missing was Katrina, Marco and their 4 beautiful children.
Christian regularly travels to T to build relationships with the believers there, getting things set up and it is our prayer that seminars should start soon.

Please be praying for:
- our new Elders Thomas, Florian & Jonathan
- that God would protect our church and that we would be a light in Berlin
- for the new students at the EBTC, that they would grow spiritually and for safety in monthly travel
- for our teaching staff, that we would be godly examples in our lives and be biblical as we teach
- Christian's safety as he travels and that he would be an encouragement and blessing
- for the relationships and development in Istanbul
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers and your on-going partnership in the ministry!
With love,
Christian & Sheryl Andresen
