Call for Musicians!
by Luke Duroc-Danner
Do you enjoy singing or do you play an instrument? As we get ready for the Fall at St. John's, the music ministry is looking to include more of our community. If you've ever had any interest in singing or playing the handbells, please reach out to Luke Duroc-Danner. All skill levels, experience, and ages are welcome!
Likewise, if you play an instrument and might be interested in participating outside of the choir or handbells, please let me know! We will also have opportunities for instrumentalists to participate in the services as well. Note for everyone that this is not a commitment, but I would like to get to know who may be interested in participating in expanding the music ministry at St. John's!

Love good music, good food, and a good cause? We do too! That’s why our fundraiser this year will be delivering just that. GoodFest is coming Saturday, October 1st. It’ll feature the local music and BBQ we love (with some special guest musicians) and a portion of the proceeds will go to a cause near and dear to our hearts, Family Promise. It’ll be a great time! We need your help getting the word out. First up is the Wilmette Block Party on September 10. Folks will be walking by our wonderful location and we’ll be sharing our parking lot that day to help the village out. We need your help staffing a table with GoodFest and Space Sharing info. You can sign up here to help!

Centered in the heart of Wilmette, we want to be a home for doing good. St. John's is a place where people can work together comfortably to help create a brighter future for all. Can you help spread the word that we are sharing our space? If you know people who need a space to work, throw a celebration, get married and more, please direct them to our website
