CEO Keith Thomas spoke to Aboriginal Way about SANTS' role as the native title service provider for South Australia and our involvement with First Nations of South Australia Aboriginal Corporation, Tarrkarri - Centre for First Nations Cultures, the First Nations Heritage Protection Alliance, Closing the Gap and more.

Kaurna signs national parks co-management agreement

In August, the South Australian Government announced a co-management agreement with Kaurna Yerta Aboriginal Corporation (KYAC) for three Adelaide national parks.

The First Nations Heritage Protection Alliance is a coalition of First Nations member organisations working to improve protections for our precious cultural heritage.

First Nations of South Australia Aboriginal Corporation (FNSAAC)

The First Nations of SA Aboriginal Corporation (FNSAAC) is the peak body for First Nations across South Australia made up of representatives of Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBCs). FNSAAC has the authoritative voice on issues relating to South Australian Aboriginal people's heritage and wellbeing. To sign up as a PBC or find out more, please contact melissam@nativetitlesa.org.

The National Native Title Council

The National Native Title Council (NNTC) is the peak body for the native title sector. Through the native title system, the Council advocates for the rights and interests of all First Nations people. SANTS encourages PBCs to become a member, as an opportunity to add their voices to the national dialogue on issues impacting native title rights and interests.
