Today is National Ice Cream Pie Day,
which everyone (IMHO) should get out & celebrate
(and don't forget to bring me a slice)!
It's also National Fajita Day, but we had Mexican last night ...
Forbidden Fiber Co.'s 2022 Fall Collection is out of the dye pot and into the shop! Eight color saturated skeins ... you really want these. Leann will be dyeing these through the end of October, which IMHO is not nearly long enough. I'd love to see her add these to her permanent offerings. We have these on FFC's Fortitude base ... 475 yards of fingering weight 100% SW Merino, $30/skein. (These play really well with some of the Neil Diamond colors & holiday colors, also!) We'll be happy to special order on any base FFC offers!

(As an aside ... we grew those warty gourds! We saved a couple of volunteer plants that popped up in the front yarn ((what we get for feeding the birds)). While actually hoping for pumpkins, this is still pretty cool!
Appalachian Baby Design is hosting a "Make Along" featuring their Christmas stocking kits! Four live Zoom sessions begin Tuesday, September 6 at 7:30 and every other Tuesday through October 18. Here is the link to sign up for their Make Along Sessions

All you need is to purchase is the kit ... and we have several in the shop at 50% off (regular price is $60)! Pick up your kit, complete the sign up on their website (the link above), grab your needles & get ready to knit! These sessions will walk you through the color work, turning the heel, working the toe ... like a giant free sock class!
We're always excited to welcome a new vendor to our flock here at Ewe & Company! This is one you have asked for time & again ... Feederbrook Farm. So we're bringing it in ... and we're pretty excited about it ~ not only is this a great yarn, we are (as of this writing) their only shop in Tennessee! We have ordered a 'Party Bag' ~ 2 skeins of each of all 21 colorways in Entropy DK weight. These skeins are 260 yards, 100 grams, $32 each. They should be in the shop late-September, our scheduled ship date is September 20.
Making Stories, Issue 8 will be in the shop mid-September. This is an absolutely gorgeous magazine ... printed on recycled papers, amazing designs from world renowned fiber designers featuring premier yarns, interesting articles, an occasional graphic story ... and NO ADVERTISEMENTS! We're receiving a limited number ... $30 per issue. Preorder to make sure you get your copy.
Here's our current class schedule ~ time to sign up, folks!
