Era Organic Sauvignon Blanc Terre Siciliane IGT
Sicily, Italy
LCBO#: 632307, $12.00  SHOP »»
For decades the Botter family has been crafting quality wines that suit many palates. From the warm climate of Sicily, this Sauvignon Blanc is made with organically grown grapes. Pale lemon in colour, with aromas and flavours of candy, fig, banana and pear. Medium-bodied and extra dry, this is well-suited for summer salad and focaccia with buffalo mozzarella. Look for this crisp white wine in the Organic section at the LCBO, as well as in Italian Whites.

Terres Secrètes Les Préludes Mâcon-Villages 2019
Burgundy, France
VINTAGES#: 23988, $18.95  SHOP »»
"Here is a villages Chardonnay from the Mâconnais as a lieu-dit designation called Les Préludes, not of hostilities, ruin or chaos but something much gentler and happier. To a kiss perhaps, of sweet green and yellow orchard fruit or a journey, long and venable in the hands of this house. Lovely and tenable Chardonnay, in other words. Drink 2022-2025." Score: 89 Pts. - Michael Godel, Wine Align. Tasted August 2022.

Muga Rosé
Rioja, Spain
VINTAGES#: 603795, $16.95   SHOP »»
"This is a pretty rosé with sliced cherry, orange peel and peach. Medium body and very bright, with fresh acidity and graphite and mineral undertones. Jazzy acidity. 60% Grenache, the rest Viura. Co-fermented." Score: 92 Pts. - James Suckling, May 2022.

Château de l'Escarelle Rosé 2021
Provence, France
VINTAGES#: 25735, $18.95  SHOP »»
This classic blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah has a fine balance between elegance and energy. It's long and juicy, with blood orange, red berry, lifted floral notes, Provençal herbs, and a touch of spice on the close. Try it with a sashimi-tuna salad.
"Limpid, salmon skin color. Sharply focused orange zest and redcurrant aromas, along with building floral and spice notes. Tangy and focused on the palate, offering fresh strawberry, blood orange, candied lavender and white pepper flavours that show firm tension and strong cut on the back half. Closes long and tight, with the red fruit and spice notes repeating strongly." Score: 91 Pts. - Josh Raynolds, Vinous, July 2022.

Southbrook Triomphe Organic Cabernet Franc Rosé 2021
Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario
VINTAGES#: 279117, $20.95  SHOP »»
"Always a bit of a rosé departure with organic Cabernet Franc. Deep hue, well received and pressed fruit, substance, and notable phenolics. Reminiscent of varietal wines out the Loire with pyrazine, washed cheese rind, thyme and camphor. Drink 2022-2023." Score: 88 Pts. - Michael Godel, Wine Align. Tasted July 2022.

Amalinda Organic Monastrell 2019

"The Wanted Cab" Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Puglia and Sicily, Italy
LCBO#: 626309, $15.00  SHOP »»
Made with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Aromas of spice, cedar, mint and dark fruit fill the nose and lead into spiced dark fruit and toast notes on the palate. Medium-plus bodied, with a soft and flavourful finish. Pair with grilled lamb, beef or chicken.

Château de Vaugelas Le Prieuré Corbières 2019
Languedoc, France
VINTAGES#: 154617, $15.95  SHOP »»
"Château Vaugelas is located in a historic area in the centre of Corbières and is owned by the Vinobles Bonfils. A blend of Syrah (40%), Grenache (30%), Carignan (27%), Mourvèdre (3%), this wine has a dark red, clear colour. On the nose, dark fruit, cherry, blackberry, fig, vanilla, jam and a touch of chocolate. Medium plus body on the palate with fruity, pleasant tannin, integrated acidity and a long finish. Pair with red meat (burgers, steak, roast beef, filet mignon), roast turkey or venison " Score: 94 Pts. - Chuck Byers, Wine Consultant at Ask Chuck.

Juniper Small Batch Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Western Australia
VINTAGES#: 23808, $24.95  SHOP »»
"This is such a bright and juicy blend bursting with lively ripe fruits delivered with high energy. It's cabernet dominant using small amounts of merlot, petit verdot and malbec. This was a cooler vintage, and it shows in the bright red berry characters and seductive perfumes. Fine chalky tannins and a little oak support a medium bodied palate. Really nice wine for the next few years. Drink: 2021-2027." Score: 93 Pts. - Ray Jordan, Wine Pilot , February 2021.

Champagne Moutard Père & Fils Grande Cuvée Brut
Champagne, France
On SALE Now! Save $3.50. Offer ends September 11, 2022.
LCBO#: 25900, $43.70  SHOP »»

"Toast and a sweep of sweet brioche opens the nose of this blanc de noirs, 100 % Pinot Noir from the heavy clay, limestone-laced soils of Buxeuil and Polisy in the Côte des Bar. The Moutard family have been making wine since the 17th century, and this is their flagship wine. Thirty-six months on the lees, this full and toasty NV draws cherry and nuts along a creamy, doughy palate. A pin-prickling acidity lifts the weight to a lingering finish. A richer style, to pair with protein, at an excellent price." Score: 90 Pts. - Treve Ring, Wine Align.
