Dear beloved parishioners of St. Katherine's,
There are some recent events and news updates that we want to share with you.
First, we want to inform all of you that the Parish Council is now currently working with the Colliers International AZ realty team to begin the search for a new tenant for the Education Building to begin occupancy in January of 2023. Representatives of Colliers recently visited our campus and were extremely impressed with our facilities and grounds. Locating facilities for schools, and helping burgeoning schools find the right facility is one of their areas of expertise. More to come . . .
Second, The New Sound System: After speaking with a couple other churches that went through the process of upgrading their sound system, we’ve learned that it takes time to “dial in” everything before audio and visual clarity is accomplished. Adjustments are normal for new systems and time is needed to make the appropriate tweaks until we get things to where they need to be. Thank you for your patience during this time.
GREAT NEWS!
On behalf of our Parish Council and the tremendous work and due diligence by them we are happy to share with you that we have received the Homeland Security Grant that we petitioned for in the amount of $150,000. This grant will be used specifically for Security improvement on our Church’s main campus. We will continue to inform you on the improvements and usage of this grant in the weeks and months to come.
