These are just some of the questions we’ve been discussing at our community roadshows over the past few weeks. As part of our Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, we’ve been going to venues throughout the county and hosting interactive conversations on the factors that impact our economy. Each one has been so powerful, full of rich conversations about the good, the hard, and everything in between. 

We only have a few more roadshows left–and it would be so much better if you were there!

During these events, we will be listening to your insights and ideas on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats our county is facing. In a series of small group discussions, we will ask for your input on a range of topics including climate resiliency, healthcare, housing, childcare, tourism, education, and more. 

Join us during one of our upcoming in-person CEDS Roadshows in Eureka or Trinidad and share your thoughts on how to develop economic growth in Humboldt County! Important Update:  the Willow Creek roadshow has been postponed, please stay tuned for more information, new location and time TBA. 

Who’s invited? These events are intended for community members throughout the County to come and share their insights! We will also be hosting another roadshow specifically for industry experts and municipality leaders on October 27th at the Arcata Community Center.
