New LGBTQ+ Resource Bundle
In June, the LGBTQ+ Affirming Resource Bundle: Creating Safe and Affirming Classrooms and Schools for LGBTQ+ Youth was released on Achieve the Core. This resource collection helps educators build their own knowledge around LGBTQ+ issues, assess their school's readiness to implement LGBTQ+ affirming practices, and offers instructional resources for K-5 teachers looking to introduce LGBTQ+ affirming math and ELA/literacy lessons in their classrooms. The resources in this bundle are mostly geared towards elementary teachers, but we plan to engage educators in the ongoing design of this resource to serve K-12 grades. See opportunities below!

The beginning of the school year is a great time to explore new lessons and classroom practices. Take a look at several of the resources below that are included in the LGBTQ+ Affirming Resource Bundle
