The final MC Canada Nationwide Worship service this summer is shared by Bethany Mennonite Church (Virgil, ON) on Sunday, Sept. 4. Livestream begins at 11:00 a.m. Title: “Workin’ for the man up top” Scripture: Colossians 3:17, 23-24
Theme: In Luke 10 Jesus tells his disciples that "the worker deserves their wages" implying that they should not shy away from being paid. Yet few of us work only for the money - that is too spiritually unsatisfying. The bible speaks to this as well: when we work we serve others - customers, co-workers, employers, our own families - and most of all we serve Christ. Needs to be in good running order but can have a nick or two on the body. If you have something you feel would work for us, please contact Ron:
ron@shekinah.ca or 306-945-4929.
