Our Mission & Purpose: As followers of Jesus Christ, in obedience to the Word, we covenant to be a nurturing community that challenges and equips one another to know Christ, grow in Christ, and go with Christ.

Things we can pray for this week:

Sing aloud to God our strength;
shout for joy to the God of Jacob.
Psalm 81:1
New Joys and Concerns:
  • Merry Lloyd has a broken arm. She was injured while working the canal locks and was trapped between the wall and the boat. They are waiting on word from doctors about possible surgery.
  • Tristan Krabbe's hip replacement surgery went well. He is home from the hospital and doing well.
  • Rob Krabbe's dad Bob Krabbe fell and fractured his shoulder and neck. He is recovering at home.
  • Pray for Amber Hoffman's coworker Sadie Goodwin. She’s having difficulties with her eyes.
  • Shirley Wise's grandson is looking for a couple of guys to help with fixing her roof, if you know someone, let Shirley or the church office know.

Updates:
  • Continued prayers for Glenn Goodman's Dad who is still in the ICU unit. He has not improved, and now has a feeding tube. [Last week from Teshura Casil: Glenn’s dad (my father-in-law) Tom Goodman has Covid. The whole family got hit with it around the same time, even though he’s been in a care center since the end of July. We were hoping he managed to avoid it, but the care center called last night to let us know that his oxygen is low and he’s being admitted to Los Robles Hospital & intubated. He’s 85, with dementia. Prayers would be greatly appreciated.]
  • Julie is slowly regaining the ability to walk but is still suffering from mental impairment due to ICU psychosis. [Kim Christian's best friend's mother, Julie has been released from the ICU where she had been on a ventilator due to Covid but is still unable to walk, and has brain function impairment. Please pray for her continued healing, and for her family.]
  • Rob is still on his mystery tour of health investigation [Rob Krabbe, dealing with regulating Afib and blood sugar levels, and looking for answers relating to severe nausea.]
  • Dwayne Wilson has received good news from recent cancer scans but is dealing with some pneumonia in his right lung. He will see the pulmonary specialist sometime this week. The fluid in his lungs could be a lung abscess, a bacterial infection, a fungal infection, or fluid build-up from radiation. Treatment will depend upon what is the root cause.
**We encourage periodic updates. If we have not had an update in six weeks, we will remove names from the prayer list. If you would like to add a name back to the list, please let us know.
