As I sit outside gazing into the beautiful sunshine and the expanse of the world beyond, I am struck by the fact that all of this is free a gift from God that we cannot take with us. And when we come to God with humble hearts we realise fully and deeply that nothing we own or do is really truly our own. We are called to be creative beings and all that we have and all that we are can, and should, reflect the glory of that sunset. So, this week as you go about your business, or maybe enjoy the last throes of a holiday, celebrate the fact that all you have and all you are is freely given - so freely give.

New service times begin: From Sunday onwards our moring services on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays will start at 10:30 with refreshments served after the service. On 2nd Sundays our all age communion will be at 4:00pm

Gliding evening Monday 5th September:
All the gliding slots have been taken but come along to Gransden Air Field any time after 5pm  to watch the flying, have a drink and something to eat from the BBQ. Sarah Morris and Michelle Renwick. 

Men's meeting 7th September:
The next men's meeting will be this Wednesday (7th) when we shall be gathering at 7:15pm for food and fellowship in the Church Room. Steve Renwick

Tots & Toddler Group - can you help?
Our new Tots & Toddler group is looking for people to help with welcome and serving refreshments when it starts this Thursday morning. If you can help please speak to one of us, thank you! Mim Skuce, Laura Bell

Messy Church this Thursday 3:00pm:
Yes, its back for another term and this week we will be looking at how God never changes and is always there for us. Claire Ives

Church Funday and Village Market - Next Saturday 10am-2pm
It's nearly here! Come along to this great village event this coming Saturday. There will be something for everyone with stalls, bouncy castle, family games, local produce, fantastic gift stalls, bric-a-brac and lots of ideas for gifts - plus, of course, plenty of food and drink. 

Church Funday - Tombola prizes, Bric-a-Brac and help: 
We are still looking for tombola prizes or bric-a-brac for use at the Church Funday. Please put them in the Church Room if it is open, or else at the back of the church. Thank you! If you can help on any stalls then please see the sign up sheet at the back of church.

Diary Date: Harvest festival and shared lunch 2nd October
This years Harvest festival will be on the 2nd October when we will be having a shared lunch immediately after the service. More details to follow. Michelle Renwick
