Just like what director Joe Dante did with GREMLINS 2, Tobe Hooper takes the satirical approach with his follow-up to his seminal horror masterpiece with his darkly hilarious and divisive sequel, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2.

Hooper re-examines his predecessor via the eyes of the film’s biggest critics. He cleverly parodies and points out the absurdities of the inaccurate critiques of the original by making THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2 the gory and excessive film critics had originally accused his gore-less and minimalist horror classic of being.
