Begin Next Wednesday!
We are excited to launch our Wednesday night programming on Sept. 7 at 5:30. We look forward to sharing a meal together and also offering programming for children, youth, and adults. This will be a great time of fellowship and discipleship for people of all ages.
We begin with a light meal at 5:30. This first week is pizza. We ask for a donation to help us cover the cost. You can find each week's meal listed in the bulletin or on the website. Some weeks we will order pizza, some weeks our kitchen staff will prepare a meal, and some weeks we will ask you to help with a carry-in. The donation box will be out to help us cover our expenses.
Following the meal from 6 - 7:30, we will move to adult small groups, youth group, and childcare. There are 2 classes for adults. "Blessed are the Chosen," a study from Season 2 of The Chosen led by Dawn Raeder in room 101. Pastor Greg and Pastor Kelley will be launching a new small group in the fellowship hall. Our teens will meet in the youth room for their own age-appropriate study. The Children will be in the small gym where they will have supervised play. During the fall, part of the children's time will be spent preparing for a children's Christmas Musical.

 Our children will be working on "Star Search" to be presented on December 4 at 10:15 AM.
Children ages 5 through fifth grade will be the actors and the chorus with 3 and 4-year-olds joining in on a few songs. They will be rehearsing on Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM.

 We are celebrating Grandparents Day on Sunday,
September 11 in the morning worship service.

Have you seen the banners outside our church? We hope you have already thought of and invited your unchurched friends and family to join us on September 18. Is someone missing who used to attend? Ask them to join you on Back to Church Sunday! There are cards on the tables in the lobby that you can use to invite people.

 Special Ministry Opportunity
On Saturday, Sept. 10, we will be cutting up watermelons and giving away the slices to soccer players and their parents. We will also be inviting them to come to Back to Church Sunday. We will begin setting up at 9:30, begin giving away at 10 and then we will clean up when we run out. If you can help for a couple of hours, let Pastor Norm know.

Celebrations of Life
Mary White's Celebration of Life will be Sunday, September 4 at Ox Bow Haus in Ox Bow Park. The time for this is 11 AM - 2 PM.
Patti Smith's Visitation will be Sunday, September 4, 1-2 PM with the Celebration of Life Service at 2. These are at Beulah.
