September Seminar. Our experiment with a new time for seminar continues, meeting 5:00 – 7:00 pm (PT) in Tiburon and online. Registration is no longer required for in-person participants but we ask that Tiburon attendees comply with our current Covid protocols. Our topic is Dogen’s Genjokoan, available online in multiple translations

All-Day Sitting at Green Gulch Farm. Our next All-Day Sitting will again be held in-person at Green Gulch Farm and online on Zoom. To attend in person, you will register through the San Francisco Zen Center/Green Gulch Farm website and for Zoom access, through the event page on the Everyday Zen website. Follow instructions and links for both on the event page on the Everyday Zen website.

Engaged Buddhist Letter Writing Retreats. “Writing letters to voters is one of the most effective ways to increase voter turnout.”—Vote Forward Join with other sangha members in a letter-writing retreat on Zoom to encourage participation in the upcoming election. There are four remaining retreats coming up, organized by the Buddhist Election Retreat Organizing Committee. On September 11, Roshi Joan Halifax will offer the opening dharma talk.
