Dear Friends,

     Labor Day is such a great holiday...  If you are around town - I hope you will join us this Sunday.  We'll just try to keep it simple and enjoy the morning together.  Feel free to bring your friends too.
     The following week Rev. Maurene will keep things  nice and simple too... 
     Then it's back to school!  I'm excited to let you know that we will be starting our first accredited Religious Science class since reopening.  It is called Spiritual Economics, and I think everyone who takes it will enjoy it.  We will offer it right after Fellowship on Sundays starting Sept. 18th, in the Woman's Club meeting hall.  Even if you can't stay on Sunday, you will still be able to participate in the Unexpected Income Program that we will start then also.
     Speaking of school - we are on the lookout for a reliable and kind person who would be interested in providing child care and leading simple craft projects for children who come with their parents on Sundays.  Please let me know if you think of someone.

God is man and woman in our own real self. The omnipotence of God's favor is our blessing. God knows our desires and through Its power answers in turn.  As in treatment we close with "and so it is."  This is when we know it is done.  When we believe and expect, we will experience.  As we expect miracles to happen, nothing can inhibit the action of God..

Great minds think alike! Rev. Maurene and a few other people have suggested that we ask people to donate their "extra" metaphysical books to CSL Carlsbad and then we could sell them at our book table. If you don't have extra books, then you'll enjoy shopping all the more!
 It's a super-easy casual fund-raiser for us that will have the ADDED BENEFIT of putting these books back into circulation at a lower cost to the new owner.
