It's Labor Day Weekend! Start your weekend off early with a glass of wine or refreshing cold beer of your choice starting at 4 pm. You work hard and this weekend is to celebrate you. 

Seafood Festival: Save The Date- September 24

Save the date for our annual Seafood Festival on September 24th from 5- 8 pm at The Point.  Enjoy a family style dinner with steamed crabs, a variety of seafood and sides. Live music will be provided by a highly recommended band called Foggy May. Feel free to bring a sealed side dish or dessert to share. RSVP and additional event information to follow. Slipholders only for this event please. 

Discounted United States Boat Show Tickets Available Through Shipwright Harbor Marina

Discounted e-tickets to the 2022 U.S. Powerboat Show and Sailboat Show are available for purchase through Shipwright Harbor Marina. The U.S. Powerboat Show is October 6-9 with the preview day on October 6. The U.S. Sailboat Show is October 13-17 with the preview day on October 13.

Discounted Single Day Ticket Prices:

  • Preview Day: $20 each (regular $40)
  • General Admission: $10 each (regular $22) 
  • Children 6 & younger are free

Calvert County Watermen's Festival & Boat Docking Competition- September 18

Join in on this family fun event at Watermen’s Wharf (end of Solomons Island) on September 18th starting at noon. Best known for the boat docking contest, kids anchor throwing, buoy toss and live entertainment will be provided by Deanna Dove.

Local Produce for Labor Day Weekend

They are calling for beautiful weather this weekend. Start putting together your classic grilling recipes and stock up on local produce on your way to the marina. 

  • Christopher's Fine Foods is a full-service grocery store featuring prepared foods, bakery, deli, fresh seafood, and fresh local produce. 
  • Soco Farmers Market at Deale Library, every Thursday from 3-7 pm. 
  • Miss Plum's Farm Stand Family owned Farm Stand, specializing in local produce and products. Open six days a week.
