FROM MAINE HOUSING:

As many of you know, MaineHousing has been allocated $20 million in ARPA subsidy from the Maine Jobs and Recovery Program for multi-family rental housing built with a Project Labor Agreement (“PLA”).  We plan to release a 4% Walk-In Program with Subsidy in mid-September.  The program will have the same rules and limits as the most recent 4% Walk-In Program with Subsidy, with the exception of the requirement to use a PLA.

As PLAs are new to many, MaineHousing would like to invite you to a virtual meeting that will explain the process and answer questions.

What:    PLA Information Session – an opportunity to listen to an overview of the PLA process and ask questions

When:   Friday September 16, 2022 at 2:00PM

Where:  https://v.ringcentral.com/join/367646757

                Access Code: 367646757

Who:     The session will be hosted by MaineHousing with representatives of the Maine State Building & Construction Trades Council, which is the entity with whom General Contractors will enter a Project Labor Agreement.
