Bainbridge Island/North Kitsap Crop Hunger Walk
Indivisible Bainbridge Island has joined the Bainbridge Island/North Kitsap Crop Hunger Walk. We invite all readers of this newsletter to become a team member. This year, the walk is focused on Ukraine. Even if you can't join us in walking, you can help feed hungry people by donating.
The walk will be held on Sept. 25, 2 p.m., starting from Eagle Harbor Congregational Church at 105 Winslow Way W.
Indivisible Bainbridge Island, North Kitsap Indivisible and Kitsap County Democrats are door-knocking in Bremerton to keep the Washington's legislature BLUE by re-electing Sen. Emily Randall and electing Adison Richards and Matt Macklin to our State House. Door-knocking improves turnout by 6% and is the single best way to get voters to vote. We knock on doors every Saturday and Tuesday, starting at 10 am . Join us! It's a fun way to get your steps in! We'll train you and partner you out with an experienced door-knocker. We also carpool to Bremerton. More info here. Sign up here!

Postcards on Wednesday - Re-elect Kim Schrier!
We're now meeting in person at the T&C on Winslow Way, Wednesdays, 2 pm to 3:30 pm.
Dr. Kim Schrier
With just 150 addresses left to distribute, we're finishing up our list of 2,000 addresses for Kim Schrier. Our 2,000 addresses are part of the 40,000 postcards Indivisible WA-8 wants to send to Democratic voters who often skip midterm elections. This is an all-WA-hands on deck effort!
You can also stop by Holly's house to pick up postcards for Kim Schrier. Get addresses by emailing Kathy and specify how many addresses you need. Be sure to return the written postcards to Holly's front porch or at Postcards on Wednesday so we can bank them for mailing in mid-October.
We've already got new lists in Nevada (in defense of Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto) and California (to flip that state's CD-13 by electing Adam Gray) to work on when the Schrier list is done. Here's what head of Activate America (our source of addresses and scripts), Doug Linney, had to say about Adam Gray.
If you can't write postcards but want to help with the cost of postcards and stamps so that others can write, please email Kathy or drop off money for stamps at Holly's house. Postcard stamps have gone up to 44 cents each. We could really use the help!
