Welcome to Winnetka, Hazel James Home! This boutique home goods retailer relocated from Highland Park to 990 Green Bay Road. Hazel James Home offers a thoughtfully-curated collection of vintage, custom, found and crafted items for the home and garden.

Stroll along Green Bay Road to visit over a dozen businesses staying open late during First Friday on Friday, September 9 from 5 – 7 PM. (Scheduled for the second Friday due to Labor Day weekend.) Musicians will perform outside, complimentary food and drinks will be available inside businesses, and fall styles will be on display in stores. Visit one of the many new retailers or designers in Hubbard Woods, and stop by your local favorites. The event is hosted by the Hubbard Woods Design District and sponsored by the Village of Winnetka.

Summer flavors continue this week at the Winnetka Farmers’ Market on Saturday, August 27 from 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Michigan produce is in season, including peaches, blueberries, and tomatoes. Chicago’s favorite new hot dog vendor, The Hot Dog Box, will return to the market. Join the free yoga session in the park at 7:30 AM.  Café Fleurette has reopened during market hours only, so put your order in early! Discover another 30 vendors at the market this weekend.

The market is hosted by the Winnetka-Northfield-Glencoe Chamber of Commerce and co-sponsored by the Village of Winnetka. It is located in the Elm Street Station parking lot at 754 Elm Street. Handicap-accessible parking is available on the east side of Green Bay Road, across from Village Hall.

Fuefed Coffee & Classics is back this weekend! Visit the classic European car show taking place rain or shine on Lincoln Avenue and Elm Street this Sunday, August 28 from 9 – 11 AM. Get coffee at Hometown Coffee and Juice and stroll the street at this popular monthly event. Coffee & Classics will take place again on September 25 and October 30.
