Chad Burnham is excited to be the newest member of the KINBER team. Chad’s role as a KINBER Contractor positions him as the project manager and lead point of contact for KINBER on the NSF Campus Cyberinfrastructure program for the project entitled, CC* Planning: Designing a Regional Science DMZ for Small Colleges and Universities in Pennsylvania.
Chad is an IT, Network and Telecommunications expert, consultant, husband and father. I have both a BA in International Business and a MA in Telecommunications from the University of Denver. I was the Director of Network Services in the IT division at the University of Denver; my specialties include large and sometimes complex project management. Together, my student and professional career totaled 31 years at DU! I’ve stayed current and engaged at both a state and regional level with others in peer groups in my profession. I am a member of the Internet Society, and past Chair, Co-Chair and Secretary of C.H.E.C.O. (Colorado Higher Education Computing Organization). I attend and have presented at the regional WestNet conferences. I like to spend time with my wife and our daughter traveling, going biking, hiking, skiing and I also enjoy seeing live music.
