Friday, August 26th: Family Sunset at the Zoo
As the sun sets later this summer, celebrate with some after-hours fun at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens! Family Sunset at the Zoo means extra fun from 5 p.m. to sunset on the fourth Friday of every month, May through September. Take a cooler stroll around the boardwalks or enjoy inflatable games and music. And don't miss our awesome 4 for $40 pack! See you there.

In this class, we will take you through the primary principles of fermentation and teach the ease and practicality of making your own wines, meads and ciders at home. September 3rd: Tuffy's Salsa Night
Get ready Sanford and surrounding cities, we're doing this AGAIN on labor day weekend!
Grab your dancing shoes and come out and enjoy a evening of live salsa , merengue and bachata. We have amazing drinks and awesome food. We have DJ Mister Energy back again to pick up where he left off (#IYKYK). So, go tell your friends, set up baby sitting and get ready for this live Salsa explosion of fun and entertainment

September 10th: Promenade in the Park: Celebrating Sanford Museum's 65th Anniversary
Celebrate the 65 years of the Sanford Museum having its doors open with a picnic! This event is free to the public and we encourage you to wear your interpretation of 19th century clothing.
Play some games of the past such as croquet, badminton, and horseshoes and enjoy snacks.
The Museum will be giving free tours every 30 minutes to the public and there will be a lecture at 1pm about the City of Sanford’s History given by Sanford Museum’s curator, Brigitte Stephenson.
Event will be held both outdoors and indoors at the Museum and Fort Mellon Park!

October 14th-16th: Hollerbach's Oktoberfest in Sanford!
Time to save the dates - 𝐃𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐡'𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 𝐎𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭, our annual German party in beautiful Historic Downtown Sanford on Oktober 14th, 15th and 16th!
This indoor-outdoor festival at the 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 will feature authentic German food from Hollerbach’s German Restaurant and Market, German beer, wine, Schnapps and desserts, a Kids Zone presented by Ladies 327 of Sanford, and German-style entertainment including polka music, folk instruments, yodeling, and dancing in traditional costumes. This year we'll have two bandstands - one inside and one outdoors - and the King Guys Band and Sonnenschein Express will be returning with their traditional German folk music!
