Congratulations to Barbara and Theresa! Read their work below -- the IFSA Open Letter: Gender and Forest Education.

Become an official in IFSA! The open call for Head of Sub-commission is open until 15th September. You can also become the IFSS 2024 OC by applying before 3rd September!

Krot Oleksandr, Krasnyk Tetiana, Lobchenko Ganna, and Kvashnytska Kateryna are the IFSA-IUFRO Summer School 2022 winners and are going to participate IUFRO event free in the late September!

There are a lot of opportunites: Rolling open calls for several Regional Meeting OCs, and Southern Africa RRs. Also, don't miss the chance to register for Africa Climate Week and ITTO Fellowship Grant!

IFSA Open Letter: Gender and  Forest Education
IFSA has just released its Open Letter on Gender and Forest Education addressed to forestry universities and departments, organisations and policymakers, accompanied by a video featuring a variety of its members. Gender inequality in forest education remains a critical topic, affecting everyone within the field. The Open Letter is a result of collaborative work of IFSA members and highlights the need for action. Read more.

The Head of Sub-Commissions will be vacant after the General Assembly in the end of August this year. IFSA is calling for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to serve from SeptembeR 2022 untill August next year. Forest Policy for an EU-fit Ukraine
Free participation to All-IUFRO Conference!
Three webinars on EU Forest Policy were held specifically for students and young researchers from Ukraine in this July. There are 4 winners in the Summer School 2022 Essay Competition. The 4 winners Krot Oleksandr, Krasnyk Tetiana, Lobchenko Ganna, and Kvashnytska Kateryna get to participate in the “All-IUFRO Conference: Forests in a Volatile World – Global Collaboration to Sustain Forests and Their Societal Benefits” in Vienna, Austria on 21-23 September 2022. None of them have to pay for transportation and registration fee. Two of them receive free accommodation. Read more.

During the event, Neektia Urang, Ashlista Tanwar, and Esha Mitra from IFSA LC FRI shared about their beloved country. People learnt about the history and geography of India, as well as its diverse culture, unique facts and colorful food. Read more.
